Tomorrow on Pop Culture America with John and Dave, we'll be taking another stroll through videoland as we view and review some of the latest music clips. It's the only way I can get Davey to listen to music made after 1983.
If you'd like to stroll along -- and we always encourage you to stroll along -- take a look at this eclectic collection of videos, then join us at Pop Culture America on blogtalkradio.com (thank you blogtalk!) on Saturday, September 20, at 12noon Eastern. Or download us as a podcast at the same site (though that does make it a little harder to call in).
We've got a nice variety on tap with a little indie rock, a touch of metal, a sprinkling of soul and maybe even a torch song. Take a look.
First up, the biggest recent release. It's Metallica with a cheery little toe tapper called "The Day That Never Comes."
Next alt-rock weirdo Beck gets belted by a "Gamma Ray."
Then retro sweetie Duffy -- who is nothing at all like Amy Winehouse -- takes a ride in the back seat down "Warwick Avenue."
Australian hard rockers Airbourne are favorites of video gamers and you can see why when they're "Runnin' Wild." And check out who's driving their semi.
Finally, it's Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkley, back again with a freaky clip for "Who's Gonna Save My Soul?"
So what do you think? Love 'em? Hate 'em? No need to be shy with your opinions. We won't be shy with ours.
Check out Pop Culture America tomorrow and see what we have to say. And by "see," I mean "hear."
